These words run my life

I love BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan), I listen to their songs on a daily basis. There is one member whose life journey I respect so much. He is SUGA — Agust D — Min Yoongi. He always say that let’s just focus on the present.

He just released his first solo album — third and last mixtape — D-Day. In his documentary of the making of the album, he said,

“People always worry about the uncertainty of the future. They fear it. And they’re distressed over the past that they can’t change. But the only thing you can control is the present.”

He added,

“The past is the past, the present is the present, the future is the future. Put too much meaning into them and they will torment you.”

Knowing that he’s been working on the album since years ago, no wonder that it all is the same thing he had already said back in 2020:

“Take your hands off what you can’t control and get your hands on what you can change.”

It’s my sincere gratitude for your hard work. Your music gives me an influence on how to live my life mindfully, to live in the moment.
